(The children will make different faces using playdough, or paper plates and talk about how they feel. We will also read books about emotions, kindness, friendships or worries then discuss the character’s feelings)

(The children will make different faces using playdough, or paper plates and talk about how they feel. We will also read books about emotions, kindness, friendships or worries then discuss the character’s feelings)
(We will read some of the children’s favourite books and allow the children to bring their favourite book in from home)
(The children will go into the garden and see how many birds they can spot, the children will also make birds using paper plates, feathers, tissue paper, or handprints)
(Children create tartan patterns using paint, collage, or weaving strips of paper, we will also introduce traditional Scottish music for e.g. Bag pipe music)
Children will create simple artwork inspired by different religious symbols, we will also explore different types of food linked with different cultures
Wear you best Christmas party outfits followed by a fun Christmas disco and a visit from Santa)- (38-week funded children break up and return on the 4th of January)
Children paint or draw themselves and talk about what makes them unique, we will also read books about kindness, friendships and diversity leading to a discussion about the books we have read
Celebrating each individual child’s uniqueness, speaking about what makes us different and raising awareness through stories and film.
Children to take turns to open the Nursery advent calender, Christmas stories and crafts throughout the month
Crafts, food tasting and music. Children can wear blue or traditional Scottish attire
Looking at road safety videos and talking to the children about road safety, Lollypop person coming in to give a talk.
